First Reconcilation and First Communion
Preparation for the First Sacraments is a two year program tyically done in 1st and 2nd grade of our PSR program.* The actual sacraments take place in 2nd grade. During this year, the children will be prepared for both First Reconciliation (confession), typically in Janurary, and then prepared to recieve thier First Communion (the Eucharist), typically done sometime in April or May. The goal of this program is that your children are prepared both to fall in love with Jesus in the first sacraments as well as lead them to understand the beauty of God's mercy and love.
The fee for the First Sacraments class is $25 per student, this fee is paid during the 2nd grade year, which provides your child with the materials they will need through out the year.
To register your child for First Sacraments classes your child is automatically enrolled in the sacramental prep when they enroll for PSR in 1st and 2nd grade.*
Classes are on Sundays @10AM
